Think about your  first trip to Disney world.

Did you HAVE to have Peter Pan’s signature? Did you jump up and down at the sight of Cinderella? Was a character breakfast your childhood wish come true?

For me I know all of the above and so many other character themed events are what made Disney as memorable as it was. Seeing my favorite stories come to life is why I dreamed of going to Disney as soon as I knew it existed.

Now that I have my own children and an upcoming trip to Disney World in the works, I realized that so much of my childhood excitement was stoked by those Sunday nights when my family would come together and watch the “Wonderful World of Disney’s” weekly feature film. Today Disney movies are less accessible (in no small part thanks to “the vault”) and while we own many we don’t watch them as frequently as I remember watching them as a child.

So I’ve decided I need to cram in a whole lotta Disney movies before we go to get my son excited about all things Disney and decided to create a checklist because I’m type A like that. In addition to the downloadable checklist be sure to scroll down to see which films have the most attractions and where! If your child just LOVES a particular film from the list, the movies below are alphabetized for easy access (and includes WHERE you can find their favorite characters).
